inside a zsphere

Like it no! … Love it! This is really special, the best from this series so far IMHO. Was it a Zbrush render?

All the best, David

thanks dude… fraid not , i usually use MR for my renders.most of the meshes are made in ZB though. i am glad for polygroups/qremesher.! worrying about topology is becoming a thing of the past, although there seems to be problems with using qremesher on a previous dynmesh , you have to export the tools as a obj and then reimport it for some reason…

hey hey, hows it goin’ guys… its been a while so i just thought i would post an update … thanks for lookin…

All the best, David

hey hey guys…

i was just wondering if anyone has sculpted fire before, and if so any tips on it.?

fire needs some effect i think (like is in 3ds max etc) i never tried sculpting and polypaint it maybe using transparency too…i really don’t know…would be cool to release it within zbrush…perhaps fibermesh could be integrated…let me know if you find something

yeah , its not the effect i am looking for as i can do that in maya, its the sculpting part. fiber mesh is a good idea though , probably as part of it mixed with another process.

Lava lava java java…

Oh my god this is good…
You almost make me want Maya…
But then I would have to get and learn Maya!
Not a chance of that for now…

Hmmm…

Fire…
Interesting problem, I bet it CAN be done in ZBrush, I have made matcaps that glow using BPR (I think its a bug) I wonder if they would still glow if transparent…

Im going to try making fire. I bet its possible.

maya and zbrush work in tandem. i make / use mesh insert brushes and zspheres to create my meshes and use maya for the material / rendering.

its the “sculpting” part of creating a fire “mesh” , as i can use particles and instancing in maya for fire but not an actual poly mesh. There is also a whole load of new modelling tools in maya now, such as “shrinkwrap” a mesh from another.just like project in zbrush.

thanks also man…!

hey hey ,

just a rework of lavaman. mesh insert brush for the body over a zsphere skeleton. the beam thingy also zspheres. Rendered MR. thanks for lookin…
