love your creations and style , just watched your latest timelapse video on youtube as well. very interesting to watch , but i got a bit dizzy cause of the speed at which the timelapse runs.

The only sad part at the end a bit , was that a lot of your sculpted details seemed to have gotten lost with the overlayed textures in photoshop.

cydethan : Thanks bro

The Namek: Thank you for the kind words ! But yeah, even myself got dizzy watching that timelapse, but I was afraid of making it wayyyy to long.

And about losing the details, yeap I'm still trying to develop my workflow to find a good balance. Because in order to keep the details, I just used to make a render and that's it, now that I'm trying to do better and more colorful illustrations I have that problem. But hey learning to let go it's also a good practice :D

First time using Fibermesh, I think I did good
Momma don’t like the head though!!

Awesome, awesome image! You have a subfolder with your name on it in my inspiration directory.

Its strange to hear you stay stuff like “I’m trying to do better and more colorful illustrations I have that problem”. Sometimes its easy to forget everybody is learning. Even the artists you admire. :+1:

I like the colors and composition of your last work a lot. Those are all things i’m just learning/reading about myself. The way you create repetition by angling the arms of the “little one” the same as the shins of the “father one”. The way you border the lower frame of the picture. The value contrast with the antlers all pointing back to the head. Even the straight antlers on the little one play a role in guiding the eyes. The longer I look the more I see!

I find it an awesome piece and very inspirational.

Kind xmas greetings to you too,

3dioot

Awesome dude, the best till now, for me obviously.

3dioot: Thank you so much  you’re too kind.
Well you know, since I started drawing I always preferred black and white, so I tried to stay away for color, only this year I decided to experiment more. If we stay always in our comfort zone, we will never grow, neither as artists nor as persons.

Fabio_Henrique: Thanks a lot bro  well it kind differs from what I’m used to do

I have to thank you all for your support over the year, it really means a lot to me.

Your characters are all so original and well done. Anyone of them look as though they could be real. The muscles and bone structures are so well thought out.

All of your work is wonderful and unique but that Christmas image really brings a tear to the eyes!

All the best for a Joyous and Healthy New Year, David
