Infestation

This is my new favorite sculpt.

Looks great!

Wow. This is so cool. Tiny little guy looks like he’s got a ton of attitude. Bravo!

This is by far the best thing I’ve ever seen posted here. not only is the model perfect, but so is the final render. It’s is so perfect I can’t stand it!!!

Thanks a lot for the appreciation guys, here`s some backstage :

very cool Alessandro :+1:

I think the unpainted version looks better, and I think it looks awesome.

needs only one thing - and that is to be Top row.

Thank you guys

Francisco original concept :

I’ll have to say your model exceeds the concept.
just saw you did a Brink Character. Brink has the best Character design of this year for me. Really love it.

The render came out really nice. looks like hell boys pet.

Amazing model and nice renders too:+1: any tips on how u sculpted the horns.

lovely! any comments on the construction of the horns? or maybe even some construction history?

I took some references of the horns of a goat…then it`s all basically a slow work of standard brush with lazy mouse in one direction…then in the perpendicular direction. Pinch tool has been useful as well, to make the edges more sharp.

I`ll post some screenshots later about the displacement settings and lighting rig

Cheers,

Ale

You always do great work and this is no exception. You chose a very cute character and you nailed the shape, muscles, details and texturing really well. And to top it all of you did a great presentation render. Not sure if you worked on the Star Wars Force Unleashed 2 trailer that came out yesterday but great work there as well.

I was curious did you start those all in zbrush? On your cgportfolio, you didn’t mention any other programs so I was wondering if you created your sculpting mesh in zbrush from zspheres or what not (for the Mr. Incredible, Stitch, Atlantis and German Soldier Stylized (from your website) sculpt)?

this was posted before you by eklettica shows zspheres clearly.

Tobbeo : Yes i worked on that show , did the clone guys in the end.

And yeah, i usually start with zspheres to have quickly a nice base mesh to start with.
