Inexpensive 3D Printing

Never mind Fabrizio, I just went to their site (Chavant) and found in a PDF of their products, that they made NSP to make the molding process with silicone rubber less difficult (NSP-Non Sulfurated Plasteline). I am going to purchase some and play around with it. Thanks.

-WOW, are we getting off the subject of ZBrush here or what-

LOL

Yeah molding NSP with silicon rubber is a piece of cake.
Have fun with it and if you have more questions concerning these materials let me know.
Cheers!

Fabrizio

Hi DigitalFreaky. I attempted to view some of your work (your site does not work), but can’t find any. Is there anywhere I can go to view your work? Right on, yes, if I have anymore questions… I will most certainly contact you… thanks a million! I have worked with Sculpey and Water-Based Clays on and off over the years, but I am no world Expert.

Hence, I just bought an aswome book called “Pop Sculpture” By none other than Tim Bruckner along with Zack Oat and Ruben Procopio. This book has it all, from start to finish i.e. how to avoid ‘Mold Lock’ to how to paint the sculptures with one of the best in the industry- Kat Sapene. Just an amazing book.

I also ran across this stuff: http://www.bronzclay.com/

Have you ever worked with this? Looks promising.

Giovani, that’s cool how the sculpt is being polished. Very cool looking. Thanks for the vid!

The cool thing is, we can now use ZBrush to ‘Quickly’ produce a ‘prototype’ and take it to the real world to sculpt. So, one can sketch on paper (or in ZBrush), go into ZBrush, do the rough (line, silhouette, etc), size, stretch, refine, then print out Front, side, back, bottom (if needed) to size, lay down the armature and start sculpting.

Gotta love the era we live in now! Best, Dragon.

I am changing domain therefore my website doesn’t exist anymore so that’s why it doesn’t work.
But if you want to see my work you can check it out at my temporary url which is: http://admin.bigblackbag.net/websites/default.asp?WebsiteID=19988
The book you mentioned is really cool and a must have if you’re a sculptor.
No I have never worked with bronzclay because I mostly do just maquettes and silicon sculptures for musems and contemporary art galleries/artists.
Sure thing, if you have questions feel free to contact me

Hello again Frabrizio, just went to your temp site. All I can say is… Holly Crap your good!! That’s what I have always liked about the ZBrush Forum, you meet with such amazing talent. And you my friend most certainly are one of them.:+1: I have also put you in ‘my favorite artist folder’.
I started to read about your encounter with ‘TM’, looks interesting. I am going to go back to your site to finish reading about your experiences with it. Looks like something I TOO need in my life.
Fantastic, I WILL contact you with questions AND if you don’t mind, as I make my sculpt, for some critiques from you?? Best, Dragon.

Thank you for the kind words regarding my work and for putting me into your favourite artists folder. That’s flattering.
Yes, feel free to email me at [email protected] and I’ll be happy to answer your questions and talk about TM, which is incredible
Cheers!

Fabrizio

I wrote down your website and email. I will contact you down the road and keep an eye on your work. Best, Dragon (Saul).

By the way, if anyone recently has has clicked on my ‘website’ link here at ZBrushcentral, and it has taken you to my OLD site (angelfire.com), I just updated it to my NEW website (wickedwheelz.com). Even though this site is old as well (will update soon), it holds my most recent work (and who I have worked for). I ‘thought’ I had updated it- but, oh well-
Best, Dragon.

This has come out really well. What kind of technology was it that made this man?

Hello Fabrizio (DigitalFreaky). This is Saul (Dragon). I ment to write sooner. Just checking in to make sure your OK buddy??

Did you feel the quake? I would imagine you did (something that big).

I am praying for you and everyone in Japan.

Hello Saul and thank you very much for your message.
Here things are pretty bad…they talked about a nuclear meltdown and there’s a massive radioactive cloud that’s spreading towards Tokyo.
There’s been another earthquake near Tokyo and the chances of nuclear disaster are getting higher.
I will stay here and help my wife and close friends and if this will mean risking my life or health I don’t care.
I’ll do my best to help as much people as I can.
And I will keep you posted.
Thank you again for your email

Fabrizio

I sent you my reply per your email. Again, I will pray for your’s and you.

GOD BLESS.

Long time no talk (lots going on in my life). Just checking in again to see how these last weeks have been for you (I know you folks just experienced another quake, they called it an aftershock, but dang, 7.1, that’s a quake to me).

It’s just amazing what is going on in the world. I hope mother nature does what it has to do and finishes quickly. Cause, she’s scarying the heck out of us!

I really do hope all is well with you and everyone else in Japan.

Saul
