Forget XP (cause we all know it’s nothing but show stuck on top of Win2K)

I’m having a Blast using my Zbrush images to build skins for the OS. It overwrites the BORING windows look with INCREDIBLE skins for EVERYTHING and you can download and upload (to share your own creations)

AND if you REALLY want XP look then they have that to download too. completely replaces the status bar…BWAHAHAHA!!

$50 and I can’t TELL you how much fun I’m having right now.

I have it too Kathy. Got hooked on it after using Enlightenment on Linux for a while. I couldn’t stand Window’s boring blah interface. Now, if only they could do varying levels of transparency with that. Then I could design windows that had glowing or foggy borders. I’ll be looking forward to seeing your ZBrush Windowblinds skins.

I think you can do the transparency thing with Desktop X if you have Win 2k…

theres a better program than this who actually and truly replaces the windows shell program (Explorer). its called litestep (www.litestep.com ??? or try searching for it in google).

its almost a new operation system altogether and actually seem to crash much less. its completely customizable (down to EVERY aspect of windows) and you can add new features to it with editing a simple txt file. and that includes changing every picture or texture or menue in it to suit you’re mood… i use it and recoment it fullhartedly. new skins and configurations can be downloaded from skinz.org enjoy…
