This is a 2 day model of one of my friends. I am going to put a helmet on him and turn him into a soldier once I bring him into max or maya.

Excellent modelling!
A likeness is there already. Some fine wrinkles etc, and some colour adjustments, and you can render your friend whenever you wish! Nice work!
You must like your friend as you could have made him look worse! :lol:

Ok I have done some more work on the face. I brought it into max and started messing with the lighting. Also begun work on the helmet, I havent added the dirt so right now it looks too clean :frowning: .

as far as C&C…you might want to raise the height of the helmet as it really
makes him look like a pinhead…unless that’s what yer after :wink:

Good work here ! I like the pose.
Maybe a little fix on the ears. But don’t rely only on photos for the modeling. You should look at real ears.

thelucky: Thank you, I know I should have worked on the ears but I planned on having them covered in the final render. I might decide to render it also without the helmet too, so I will go in a work on the ears. Thanks!

The model is very good, but the eyes are great!!
Tell me something about that, its my problem n.1… making realistic eyes!

Well…i think the eyes are stolen from the pic…i mean…is a photoshop work, cut and paste. Always there’s some excellent tutorials on making eyes…search for it.
