Finaly: A way to truly control the hair you make in ZBrush! Very useful tutorial WingedOne.
Exceptionaly clerar and easy to follow.
This is fantastic. I hope to have time tomorrow to try it. The head model under the hair is pretty good also. You’re getting darn good at this ZBrushing stuff. Thanks
That’s a very innovative technique. I like it. Thanks so much for sharing it!

Thanks. You have given me the courage to go ahead and try modeling and doing hair. I have not had the courage before to try it yet. Great job.
Thanks for reminding me of some ZBrush basics put to good use.
Great step by step!
I need to use masking more often.

Thanks very much, WingedOne, for a very thorough and informative tutorial. I used a slightly similar technique on a piece I did some time ago, Sinesssa, but you took it a couple extra steps and made it more complete.

this technique is for 2.5d but can be made with some forethought into 3d.
There are I believe one or two more hair tutorials that are really good and think one of them is for 2d,2.5d while the other deals with a way to do things 3d.
a further search on hair will yield those up…you can probably start maybe with the similar links at the bottom of this page.
The more beautiful are the Jaycephus hair’s painting (slide the page down)
Have fun hair making or painting
Pilou

This helps a lot, do you think you can help me with my models though?
Its very amazing…thanks man…
I hope you’re kidding.
Good technique OP, I love the snake hook brush, it’s just too bad that it only works in 2.5d. . .
