--- Guillom's Sketchbook --- (nudity)

the model looks very good over all, the face looks good as far as feature spacing (eyes nose and mouth) but they look a little big on the face
my suggestion is try reducing them a little and shifting them down along with their new scale
you may want to try a few variations with different amounts of scaling and maybe tweak the scale of individual parts to find what is most visually pleasing or best fits the criteria for the character

cheers

wasa : Hi man, actually this character is more like a basemesh that i’m gonna use for any kind of project, so right now, the goal was not to create a specific character but more like a generic female model.
Once i’ll use it for a project i’ll be focusing on some proper facial features.
Thanks anyway

very good modeling

Little something i’m working on …

Everything is still work in progress

Great proportions on your navy seal…sorry, action-hero otter
Great work as always buddy!

Very nice guillom, I really like where this character is heading.

Hehe, the otter is great! Very nicely done. Have you modeled everything in Zbrush?

the otter is so cool. i love the whole style.:+1:

Al.Tintop : Thanks !

Moni-Poroni : Thank you, actually the body is 100 % Zbrush from ZSphere , but all the clothing and accessories have their basemesh modeled in Max.

alphagsv : Thanks a lot.

RawSunlight : eheh  thank you !

here is an update , added the bandages, some accessories, shoes, holster.
Pockets on the vest are gonna change probably, too symetrical for now

wonderfuuuuuul work

eheh, this is great! I like expecially the shoes design

Haha, cool otter. Great work on the clothing.
I would try to add a bit more character to the head so you could read his archetype and also grab the focal point.

Hey thanks guys !
Undoz : Thx man ! i didn’t touch the head yet, i just did the silhouette for the organic parts .Next step is to refine the head and hands. I’ll probably need the mouth interior so retopo could be good before detailing these.

The likeness you did of Ron Perlman is really nice. Thanks for sharing your work.

awsome character! very nice!

I finally got some time to build the Low Poly for this dude.

This is a simple texture for now, i just started texturing.
Gun, Jacket and TNT sticks can be removed .

Still a lot of work …

[Otter_WIP_07.jpg]

And this is low poly? How many tri’s?

for now it’s almost 10 000 but i’ll add some alpha plane for the hairs and moustache

another work in progress shot

[Otter_WIP_09.jpg]

Cool. That’s a pretty good looking character. I like the funky, kick ass shoes. Looks really nice for a low poly. Will you post a wire frame image? Good job
