womball : Thanks ! it’s the lowpoly already so i can put it in any engine, fake SSS exist in these engine so i might try that , for now, it’s just for render purpose the realSSS.

I don’t understand how to create edge flow that consists of triangles to generate detailed low poly characters…is there a rule of thumb? I was always taught to keep strictly to quads but I’m always seeing this sort of top row quality posts with traingles that have perfect textures/uv layouts/maps. blows my mind because I can barely get my work up and ready with all quads…Anyway beautiful work on this thread.

Cordycep : well edge flow on lowpoly is really different, but my high rez in Zbrush is really all quads .
I forgot this …
Here is something i’ve been willing to finish but never took the time to do.
So it’s still a lowpoly with normal map rendered in max with MR, rigged with C.A.T.
Gun is fully rigged with bullets loaded :eek:
I used 2 photometric lights and one skylight/dome ( very simple setup ) I played with the self illumination parameter in Arch and design material to have a clean render( in mental ray )
