womball- Is the hair a seperate ztool made from a mesh extract? And how did you texture it?
Yeah, how did you do the hair in Zbrush? It looks so nice.

Now thats one wikked character.Well done. His anatomy is awsome. His muscularity is very good great muscle bellys.really good works.
The textures are so nice…

This is by far one of THE best street fighter characters i’ve seen done!
Excellent work man! Nice detailing too! I love the texturing and little stuff u put in there to make it really stand out! Keep it up!:+1:

The hair within Zbrush was just a basic cyl that i sculpted. I probably used a lot of Lazy Mouse on it. And then i just worked to try to blend it into his scalp hair. After i got that good enough i just used it all as a guide for puting the hair sheets over hte top.

Oh, snake hook is awesome. I forget the tool sometimes. But i recall i used it to kinda spike the hair a bit (like Bart Simpson). You can use that to really rip thing around and get some spikes.

Even if your not going to really do something in zbrush or keep something its good to make a guide. I like to see as much as i can at once for relationships and proportions.

In Max: The hair sheets are more or less created independantly (off to the side of the character). There are a couple of basic squarish ones (but you can stretch them) that i used to build up on the sides and theres a couple longer ones. one with some mass and another with a curl type tip at the end. They are little sheets that i have to play around with so there isn’t a lot of visual clipping. I just distort and bend them around to follow on top of the cyl i had. The top of the hair is just a bunch of the squarish ones like i did on the side all coppied aorund. you can see a lot of duplicate stuff in there :(. cause i didn’t spend a lot of time on the top. I could have created more of them for variety but i wanted to be somewhat budget with it. I could pretty easily create a game-ready version of his hair just by optimizing whats there.

Thanks a lot for the awesome comments guys!!

This is a very impresive piece of work, could you tell my how did you managed to do the laces in the boots?:+1:

Truly awesome, I’m so amazed… :+1: :+1: :+1:

so when are you going to do a Ken Masters ? :o:o:o

You did an amazing job on this. NIIIIIIICCCCCe touch with the handcuffs too! Just read about that online.

Great work!
Could you show some example of the hair sheets? Maybe like some Max screen shots.

Thanks.

This is one of my favourite pieces!! Amazing sculpt, great textures too. All in all a fantastic model. 5* from me.:grimacing:

amazing work mate, did you import a mesh and sculpt from there?
also what brushes do you use to get such detail?
finally what did you use for texturing, maya, photshop or zbrush?

great work dude

This is so good I’m tried of looking at it. LOL Man you really have set a new bar for the street fighter characters. I’ll be watching your post from now on. the only bad thing about this is showing his stomach is a little gay.lol

hey mike - great work man!! its adam marquis - i used to work w/ you for a bit over at liquid. im back over at naughty dog now. hows things with you?

Fantastic Work, just amazing.

After buying the game and seeing the lack of detail in the models (especially compared to yours!), it made me dissapointed. Considering its a major release and has lots of fans, they should have hired you as modeler… Great work as well as inspiring. AMAZING.

Amazing!! I love Guile!

Awesome work…5 stars from me…
