Grot's digital sculptures

Fantastic Artworks. I love it. Sincere Congrats.:+1:

I have always loved your stuff. I use it often as wallpaper for my pc at work. People that see it are fascinated.

Well done man!
Question about your atmospheric effects, are those fog and light adjustments in Zbrush? Or do you take them to PS for post work? Use a third party render engine?

Grot:

Liking what I see in your thread.
The compositions have nice grimy feel!

Thank you all, always glad to hear when people enjoy my work. I’ll post more soon.

@Gridlost Thanks for the question, for the atmospheric effects I use a combination of BPR filters inside zbrush and a little bit of Photoshop afterwards. Looking forward to trying out Keyshot with the next Zbrush update, looks like it could take my renders to the next level.

So disgusting… and so well done!

my crazy cat woke me up at 4am two nights in a row, this is the result.

Thanks again for all the positive comments.

I love this design. It’s almost like he’s made of bone. I have a cat as well and have been in that same situation. I dig your style and atmosphere in all your pieces. Keep sculpting

JUST SCULPT IT!

Love your works Grot!!! Amazing, stylized as if immersed in the deep dark depths of your liquid imagination…

Here are a couple of new ones. I really want to do some environments now I have Keyshot, so maybe I’ll post something a bit different next time.

Hello my friend.
I have not tried to work with Keyshot, but one man said long ago, "when it comes to craftsmanship soul go out ".
The program is a dangerous thing for an artist. )))

I think you are right about that, and this is why I’m getting rid of as much of the premade stuff as possible.
Im saving some of the materials so I can learn how to make new ones but thats about it. The HDR images are the first to go, I know how to draw my own now in Blender, and soon maybe in ZBrush.

Grot, your work is amazing.

a couple of new ones I rendered with Keyshot. Hope I have not ā€œlost the soulā€. Interested to hear peoples thoughts.

Cheers

Well, as an exercise, I think it’s cool and valuable to know how to crush berries to make pigment, but I’m more likely to just grab a tube of oil paint.

Love your rendering effect and the creepy, still vibe you have going…

Thanks guys. Glad you like them. Working on some new pieces, will post them soon.

Can’t wait for another stuff from you, Grot. This is nice piece of art, as always!
