Lermontov Mikhail Yurievich (1814-1841) - russian poet, novelist, playwright and artist.

As long as I do not have time to deal with the Mona Lisa.
Now I have an order for six portraits. Three - the classics of Russian literature
(Pushkin A.S., Lermontov, M.Y., Tolstoy L.N.).
And the three portraits of famous travelers-pioneers.
(Atlasov V.V., Dezhnyov S.I., Khabarov E.P.)

A little later I’ll post it all. (And the Mona Lisa too.)

Funny I could have sworn that I replied to this thread before but I checked and don’t see one. I remember writing one about your Mucha reliefs.I must not have hit submit reply. Anyways nice work I have yet to try a relief someday.

monstermaker, I’m very pleased to read the such lines from you - master of the craft (crackjack). Thank you for rating!

Just amazing work. I was really surprised to see the familiar portrait reliefs on round bases for printing since I’ve been doing the same thing. I really wish I were deft enough to do it directly in relief though! I’m extremely jealous of the detailing you do too.

The Conundrical Preposter, thank you for the kind words!

I finished the portrait of Lev Nikolaevich Tolstoy.
