Goodnight Sleepfight!

Awesome work!:+1:

Cheers,
Svyat

Hi SleepFight… still going at it I see-:D… how great for the rest of us- Man, everything, and I mean EVERYTHING you make is very PRO looking. And not just how clean all your models (tools) look, but even your concepts. What an amazing 3D artist you are. You mention early on in your post that you did the 2D art work to keep in touch with your comic book side (or something like that). Have you worked in the comic book field? I only ask as I made my living as a comic book colorist some years ago (which, I too love the style you used-the superman… very cool). I have written everything down that you have given us for tips (and putting it to practice as I write this), and am so looking forward to the video as well. And I will echo what my fellow zbrushers have already stated, I too would be willing to purchase a HOW TO video that you would make! This looks to be one of those 'oh, your so great this and so great that"… but truth be told, um, YOU ARE!

Dragon- Thanks for the AWESOME comments and for stopping by the thread. As far as my 2d goes I wanted to draw comics before entering college but
the comic book industry was on it’s down slope and I got some very good advice about 3d and my mind was made up. I still love to break out the pad and
pen but it’s hard these days (no time). I’m still working on making a video for everyone but I’ve been having problems with my OS… goes haywire about
every 30 mins (not good for recording) but i should have it fixed soon and can post a how to for no cost.

Here is another sketch I worked up. Started out as a concept sculpt for a couple ideas floating around in my head and I threw some polypaint on to finish.

Man, I get a real kick out of your work, always top notch hardsurfs!

THANK YOU SIR, loved every piece and all the pages within this thread! :+1:

Always a true pleasure to see your work! I love your layouts as well. You are an inspiration. For not only do you make great models and art, but you have the additional skills to place them in settings and design a fitting environment.

Thanks for sharing.

yes, always great stuff

Your work is just amazing. Where are you working these days? I can’t imagine you haven’t been picked up by a studio.

koro-Thanks

renmanuel89- Thanks…Glad you enjoyed my sketchbook so far!

ArtBot- Thanks…I enjoy designing layout sheets and such…

O/MI- Thanks… I appreciate you always stopping by the thread!

katana- Thanks, Glad you like the work…I’m freelancing now… I used to work at a couple of studios in the Atlanta area on commercials and some feature stuff but I’m thinking of jumping into gaming for the first time…should be fun.

This was my image for the 2012 Halloween Challenge. The “Unboxing” of a pumpkin monster. I’ll most likely
touch him up a bit and do a couple more renders. Just wanted to throw the image over here in my main sketchbook.

Some practice from the weekend…been thinking about entering the Mass Effect challenge over at Cghub so sculpted up
this arm shielding concept…

Really nice work on that arm. I’m always impressed with your presentation too. Very cool

Ehren- Thanks.

An idea I had in my head of some type of nuclear cannon…
