God ARES from my current entry in CGTalk challenge

The detail is truly astonishing, and the composition perfect.

Thanks friends…Drummer …sorry friend just now i 've seen your question…nop…no Displacement used . Very normal 3d work…it was my first work in XSI (in such scale ) so i was trying more to find my way around…i will soon try to experiment in Displacement thought (in Maya too) …since this is also a stronge point in ZB …Displacement Maps.

I hope you like it…? Man be sure we like it! Great scene!! :+1:

Excellent work, I am very impressed! the BG makes all the difference

:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

great composition, great colors, great modelling. great all. and just a funny note…at school the other day friends were looking at your post and i overheard “positive” comments on the womans rear! so really, great all, bum included!!!

:+1: :+1:

and p.s., i just read one of your previous comments, i am a woman and i don’t find your work one bit bothesome or maschilist. it is simply art, and you decided to illustrate the theme as you thought best. you are free to do whatever you want!

keep up the good work man!

no problem, friend, thx for the answer !!
I solved the problem of displacement in XSI not long tim ago and if you have any problem you can ask me what you want !! I’ll be glad to help you, man!

hope to see other your works soon
great stuff
:sunglasses: :+1:

I am not sure that the color of the red-violet ribbon of the man is the best color
?
That makes a biggest contrast and a curious optic effect as that is drawing with a felt pen !
Pilou

amazing piece you’re creating.

The girl is fabulous, and the man isn’t at the level of her!

Anatomy is good, but the pose…mmh, he looks like a robot. Try to put his head a bit rotated to a side and to the back, so he looks more like an “enslaver”.

I’d as well add some assimetry to the pose by rotating the spine…and maybe put one leg more towards than the other…

excellent job man, but don’t leave this guy as it is

I already told you what I think about your work ! Great job Dimitris ! :+1:

Good work you did man!!!dope.

Dimitris,

Excellent finale, great lighting.

I don’t think the chain should be draping over Ares collar bones unless the medallion is fixed to his chest.

Usually I don’t like women with very short curly hair… but here I must make an exception… :grimacing:
keep this coool way man
…I adore the lights
