Overall I like this piece a lot. Here are some of the reasons why, these things stood out for me the motion blur on the bats a closed claw in the background and the claw in the foreground opened up ready to come at the viewer,
the God/sun rays of light and the highlights on his chest, the atmospheric dust in the air, and the red/hell highlights coming up from the opposite direction of the sun light. It is a very nice compilation and for me sometimes it helps
to hear a breakdown of what looks good or what could be better, or both.
Also good job on the eyes. I had thought for a moment, why didn’t you make his eyes stand out more with the normal highlighted green bloom effect, but then soon realized
that it would have taken away from the monotone death composition (except for the red of course) and moved the balance/focus off of the details and more on his eyes. I think you made the right choice to keep the eyes suttle.
