I’d like to take this chance and show you all a model I did after Gilberto’s workshop.
I was able to do it waaaay faster and a lot cleaner, also giving me some spare time to try out new techniques and tools such as Marvelous Designer and Quixel Suite!

This was a very difficult concept, but Gilberto encouraged me to do it.
I obtained a very satisfactory result, and my evolution was evident.

In 2015 I made this workshop with Gilberto Magno, and was a wonderful expirience.
It’s amazing learning from people that you admire and see how dedicate they could be to their students.
Gilberto was an excellent teacher. Helped me to improve my work and I can only thanks for that attention.

I’m happy to be between such awesome and very talented artists around.
I developed this character after finalizing the workshop with Gilberto, I could put into practice all the knowledge acquired during the course.
Developing this barbarian from the concept to the real-time model for games.
I totally recommend Gilberto Magno’s workshop if you have a chance. he’s a great teacher and friend, besides friendship and networking among students.

I’m very glad to be one of the students who completed the workshop for games with him.
I’m convicted that his workshop helped me in every single part of my workflow.
Gilberto is not only an amazing artist and profesional from this area, but also one of the best teachers that I’ve had with a concrete didacticism that makes all the difference during the learning process.

Bob3636 - Hey man! Many thanks!!! So, yes I say for all students to make contact with conceptual artist and ask permission to use his concept.
Sometimes maybe happens some problems to find the email of the concept artist or don’t get answer.
It’s very important putting the name of the (concept artist/website link) together the main post. Just let us be fair! 
All these works are not used for commercial purposes and does not intend to take the conceptual artist credit, are just objects of study. In my opinion if everything is done with honesty and putting the credit due to the image is gratifying for the conceptual artist.

I’m very proud with the result, and this was just possible with the Gilberto’s workshop helps, I learned so much in the workshop.
Gilberto is a excellent teacher and awesome professional, I recommend his workshop to everyone.
Oh damn I was hoping you’d do an -en version, but gah, have been unemployed over a year, there’s just no way I can do it! Killing me :(, this is beautiful stuff… you’re gonna change some lives if they commit.

May I ask you Gilberto Magno in the game workshop you or the students starts from a base mesh? I mean, I know in every single pipeline studio they don’t start from zero, or the goal is to create something from scratch and study anatomy, topology, etc?

It’s an honor been part of this gallery!
I did this model during the awesome Gilberto Magno’s 3D Character for Games workshop… it was a great and motivating experience that gave to me new and epic knowledges but more important i had the honor to meet new artists! And Gilberto was simply unique and he gave to me new “mindtricks” that helped me to evolve and grow as artist!

I had to change a bit the Fish armor design for a reason of time ^^
