VictorCS thanks! the zip is done in max then imported as a subtool

I worked on the hands and a little on the shoes. Tomorrow i’m getting the jacket finished then do the final touches before generating the low poly.
Thanks for watching!

Nice work, it’s really coming along great! One thing kinda sticks out tho…are his feet a little on the small side? Maybe beef up those boots a bit?
Otherwise, awesome!

Pure Sweet Epicness

Glad you like it guys!
Here’s an update. Almost done with the sculpt
Here are some closeups too.
I’m going to start polypainting next.

Amazing job! :+1:
I’m very curious about the polypainting …

Superb, can not fault it at all

Good modeling. I think the bump you’ve put looks strong and uniform, if you select by cavity, invert (mask blur) and smooth/fill some areas I think it will look better. Now it beats your middle sized details.
Also, the stripes on the under cloth, i mean the vertical lines (and generally all the cloth details alike), would look better if they are not straight, but follow the folds.

Hey Guys, thanks for the feedback!
I am about to finish the low poly model. This is just an update on the texture and mesh.
I hope you like

great sculpt, imho best part of this work are clothes…

Great job capturing the strength of wolverine and his cold attitude. I would love to know how to take a ZBrush character and port him into a low-poly game ready model. I haven’t seen any good threads on how to do this and then how to view it in a game engine environment to test the results. Any advice on this?

Absolutely love it :D, but I kinda feel the hair lets it down :frowning:

Thanks all for the feedback, greatly appreciated
More updates coming soon,i’m far from done with him.

Sparky3d what do you mean? i kinda like how they turned haha

Captain Cartesian
Your question is pretty general
What i do is finish the sculpt, then retopologize a mid polycount mesh in 3dsmax. I then import the high poly and bake normal maps and diffuse.
Then it’s all photoshop work on the textures.
You can find a better detailed explanation on a tutorial i made for 3dtotal featuring my soul jailer model.
Just search for soul jailer.

Thanks again guys

The high poly hair is ace, but I don’t like the low poly alpha hair, the ends of the hair isn’t right as you can see the outline of the polys, a 5 second job in photoshop will fix thatalso vary the hair alpha’s Here is a great one you’ll find very useful :wink:Hair_Alpha.jpg

Hi Guys,
After a looong pause from this model, i finally managed to finish and pose him.
This is a render from Marmoset
Final mesh is 25.000 tris
Texture sizes are 2048x2048
Crits are welcome, thanks!

what to say, amazing work
