Good model, but I like more the black and white picture because the details looks better. The texturing and the choice of the materials does not make the model more attractive.

Bas…I actually agree aboout the colour texture…I wasn’t as impressed as I was with just the displacement,
here’s a short animation test,I’ve changed his eye texture aswell…after watching it I’ve decided to add some skin movement morphs so the skin doesn’t look too static.

Good job! Two questions. Can we see the base mesh from max, and What did you use for refrence on the skin? Was it from photo or from your head?

here’s the low res mesh,subdivided x1 for animation.
the texture is all freestyle,I gave it some basic colour in ZB then used an inverted version of the displacement map set to screen mixed with various colour overlays in photoshop,

still trying to figure out what to clip him onto…
