Congratulations on top row! Well deserved! I’ve been a fan of your work and videos for a while now and glad to see the regonition. Keep up the great work!

…style! :sunglasses:
And very cool tutorials! :+1:

great art, love the style! thanks for sharing your techniques!

It’s amazing what you’re doing!

Wow - thank you everyone for your kind replies. I didn’t quite expect to make it to the Top Row.

I have a few more videos i want to put together on using Zbrush for illustration.

I use mostly use the default SkinShade 4 material and made a copy with a lower spec for clothing.

Ustos- For those hard edges I use the MAH brushes. They are great at getting nice shapes.
Here is a link to Michael’s video on how he made them with a download link to the set.

Awesome work!
Could you explain how you do the eyelids? It would help me a LOT!!
Thanks!
Chelovec

Awesome style !!!

And you for sure know the female anatomy very well

I would really really appreciate if you would explain how you’ve got those cartoony materials on venom and the space ghost…
I assume it’s some custom matcaps, I would really like to know more about them (or any technique you would use to achieve this look).
Is it something that you will cover in your future videos about using zBrush for illustration ??? I’m very very very impatient to see them !!!

I just was watching one of your quick tips videos, and then I saw that in the short time of it you went top row !!!
Well deserved !!!

Keep on doing such good pieces and tutorials  Congratulations !!!

Cheers from Belgium !!!

FridayEve thank u very much)

Congrats Fridayeve!

Your videos have helped me tremendously! Thanks for sharing your great art and great tips!

The memories !

Dmacary- Here are a couple of videos I made a while ago about how I go about making the eye lids. I also have had many questions about how I made the lashes so I also will post that one.

KenPon- For the space ghost render I used light cap to get that cartoon render look. The key is to lower the falloff down to get a hard edge on the lighting. Also it helps to turn off the shadows on all the light cap lights and use the main light to create the shadows.

How? amazing work.

selahpoetic- I used a creased polycube. Every extrusion will maintain the creased edges. I also used the slice brush to cut and divide the mesh as needed. All of the shingles ,bricks and boards are individual meshes- details you can’t see very well at this resolution. I am really looking forward to the new modeling tools in 4r7 as well as the instancing.
