BTW, Also reminds me of one of your other pieces that I’m a huge fan of.

I must to say that it is true that it is my best thing. I think that the subject it is my favorite stuff, so I supouse that I´m trying my best. I fell really happy with this job, for me this is the best type of Job, I would change thousen of movie jobs for that type of works.

Voodoomonkey: You are rigth when I tryed to design the Not so abominable snow man, I found a lot of info about Gigantopithecus(few people think that could be that the big foot).

Excellent stuff! I especially like the Homo ergaster, so close to being human yet still a ways off. Evolution imagery is just a fun thing to look at.

About the final time that i will have to finish the 12 bust. 3 Months!!!
It will be a team of 3 people, I will sculpt them(3 days each one), and other people will take the molds, and cast, and after that I will paint them(1/2 day per piece),and then I will spend with other artist 3 or 4 days for finishing and hair, and in bettween i will make the eye!!
It is very rush but, this is Spain!!!
I will post any update.

About the shader, well I use the Plastiline material of Dickie(you can find it on one of the messages he made time ago) I don.t have any program to make a zip of it sorry!!!, and about lights.
I use to work with only 2 light, i use the default lights(sorry I don´t save the light I work everyday with new set up).
Really basic light, no ore than 11 ray in zmode the principal, use to be in a corner of the ball, and the other in the back on the oposite side. Theay are really simple and I have fast render to make many test.
Only one thing and it is that I use to correct the blend amount from 12 to 5 depending to the color of the skin, even a dark skin like a gorilla could have a blend amount of 0.
