Fencing Duo

Exquisite!

En garde. Prêt. Allez!

I think you’ve captured the poses really well!

WOW I’m totally shocked! I was definitely not expecting top row when I posted this morning! Thanks Zbrush Central!

Also a million thanks to everyone for the comments and kind words!

GX@W - I think I agree about the aggressive facial expression, it does feel a bit more forced and unnatural than I meant. I appreciate the useful criticism!

Roger Eberhart - I did find reference for a fencer’s hood that is worn underneath the helmet, though you’re right I did take some creative license with it by closing it in around the back of the head, because I wanted to avoid sculpting hair for this particular project.

But in my defense, I did include a hair system and fur system for two other projects on my demo reel - which, again, can be viewed at www.ryantrammellart.com

Thanks again everyone! :slight_smile:F15B_S_F15B.jpg

Really nice rendering (and of course modeling)…any tips? Even without color map, it’s looking realistic.

Great work!!! nice action capture!!
Congrats for the top!

Great poses and sculpt!

Well deserved top row. The subject matter alone is a great change of pace from some of the other work featured here, but your technical and observational skills are no joke either. Your demo reel is solid- my only crit being that I’d like to see more.

Nicely done.

Awesome dynamic poses with nicely detailed models. Nice work!

Great sculpting! :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:
