Lonnie, I’ve been away too long. I’m only just now absorbing what has happened and its effect on you. I’m not usually in the habit of fighting other people’s battles, but if this SOB trouble maker was standing before me, I’d have to hand him his a**.
Driving in cyber-space is like driving in your car on the highway. When you’re in your car, you are in a tank. Something physically larger and more powerful than you. A machine that can inflict great damage while providing you an over inflated sense of security. That’s why road rage happens (see my first paragraph
). Too much power and the sense of invincibilty. However, while on the highway you can choose not to look at the person giving you the finger and screaming obscenities, and drive safely home. And if you were able to take down the liscence plate number, report the other driver to the authorities, if they were reckless. On the web, we can choose to do the same thing. Ignore, investigate, report, fight. Which will help us drive safely home? In the meantime, do we park the car in the garage and refuse to use public transportation, just because of a couple of idiots on the highway?
Lonnie, I’m sure you’ll be sticking around. We’ll be here, waiting for your usual generosity and fine digital contributions.
Adam
Shocking!
I don’t know who has been cyber stalking you and how bad it has gotten,
however, I must say that I don’t know how you can keep away. It is like a self imposed punishment. On the more selfish side…I will really really miss your artwork and your expertise. It always brightened my day. Go forth and make art in any way you like…you will be fondly remembered.
Thanks for everything.
