What a great tutorial! I truly respect you, man.

By the way, LynneMitchell, where cna I get the stone material?

Some nice renders there, it looks very real and beautiful too.
Nice of you to share the workflow for C4D users and no doubt will help greatly non C4D Zbrushers as well.

Just one question, I am using a mac here and when watching the tutorials I get no sound. Just wondered if they were made that way or am I doing something wrong?

Anyways they are great even without sound as I can easily follow the video.

Nice work and very thoughtfull of you to share with us.

Sound is only on the Introduction.zip. all the others are speeded up work and no sound. All the parts use Flash so I don’t think it matters which system you use. Thanks for the nice words!

SolidSnakexxx, I’ll see about getting those materials up and posting them. Haven’t done that for zbrush before.

That’s so wonderful LynneMitchell  You are very kind and extremely generous

Here are the zbrush materials I used. For the stone materials, just choose a base color to go with the material. The gold really looks great…now if I could just get a match for C4D. I’ll keep working on it.

Excellent Lyne…Thank you very much.

Thanks so much, Lynne. I’ve been looking for a Cinema to ZBrush tutorial just along these lines.

 a great tut for us…nice gift!!!

I think that stone is called Blue Gold. (Not fictional) A lot of the good Egyptian jewelry was made out of this.

I’m new to C4D and ZBrush. Oddly enough those are the only two I use. What are the odds… I haven’t used the tutorial yet, as I just found it (and I’m in school, only have C4D and ZBrush at my house) But as soon as I run through it you’ll be hearing from me again. I’ll also be doing your newer candle tutorial. Can’t wait.

GRACIAS!!!   :+1: :+1: :+1:

I just wanted to say, this has been a great learning experience. I’m only in the Cinema 4D modeling right now, and can’t wait to get it in Zbrush. My ring is not exactly the same dimensions as LynneMitchell’s ring, but I felt it was ok to take a little liberty. There is still lot’s to do, and I’m only on Part 4 of the tutorial, I believe.

Thanks for an awesome tutorial!

Hi, i know the post is old but i was wondering if you still have the tutorial. I am also using C4D and just started learning zbrush for jewelry sculpting. Your tutorial would be really helpful. Can you send it somehow please? Thanks!

All of my tutorials have been moved here: http://www.youtube.com/user/LynneM888?feature=mhee

Hope they are still useful to you!
