DUDE im so glad you kept going with this model its lookin FIRE (nice!). its not even textured and its really nice. perfect goblin proportions, really nice anatomy. by the way, if you really do complete this and get it to top row – there are going to be a lot of copiers in the future because they are about to bring goblins as a new playable race in horde in world warcraft (next expansion)

First off great work. Secondly be careful how close you get to someone elses work. Tes3d did a great goblin which you can find in the gallery.

Im not trying to take away from you sculpt because it is fantastic and you’ve got some mad skills, but if you did use his work as reference you should give credit. Keep up the great work man, hope to see more soon. Are you going to texture any of this stuff?

I honestly thought they were modeled by the same person. I guess imitation is the best form of flattery, and it’s not an exact copy so who cares. There are PLENTY of models on here that look very similar to each other, whether its a zombie, or an alien, or a big dude with body armor.

I agree that it would be nice to give credit IF this was inspired/based on the image created by Tes3d. However, they are very different with only the concept being the same. I think both are great works of art and admire both works.

Great stuff and looking forward to seeing color.

I am a game-art-man,personaly,from the pure technology side,it has great detials,and it doesn’t looks smashed. tes3d has great expressions on these abs.I love it,it’s almost perfact,this is what I need to learn.Is there any guy who don’t wanna learn this skills and let it become his skills?

I have to agree with jjvdb15 that the two models are very similar. That said this goblin is still well produced and I have used other peoples work to inspire me in the past. I would say as long as this goblin doesn’t get used in a commercial sense that it won’t harm anyone.

I love the piece and look forward to see it finished.
