Duke was the first game I ever had on my new windows 3.1 PC. Remember DOS?
Oh my God! These models are too nice!! The hell, i’d like to ask you some questions:
I know that 3D Realms has changed the graphic engine a lot of times:
Quake Engine 1–>Quake Engine 2–>Unreal Engine–>Unreal Engine 2–>Id Tech 4. What about your models? How many times you re-made them? That was boring or not?
However, what can you tell me about the models, the source code? I mean, 3D Realms doesn’t exist anymore, what about the copyright? Someone can make an OpenSource game or better, another society can take the mark, the models, source code and publish it? I saw the gametrailers.com video showing a lot of game things. I think it was pratically complete! Just the time for upgrades, make-up and compiling then Take Two would be able to publish it!

So now that Duke Nukem Forever is coming out for real, I take it we will see all these great assets in the game :). Looking forward to it, at Gearbox’s helm I think it’ll turn out great!
