nice work!! but just a side-note I’ve been looking at your renders lately and I can that you are experimenting with Key-shot alot
is has a nice openGL raytrace engine , but I think that the core functionality in keyshot is VERY limited compare to Vray, mental ray , maxwell and blender cycle… etc I can see that one can be lured by the nice shiny fast HDR look. But the underlying qualities of the image disappears within keyshot.
But HEY it is just my opinion .-)

Hey Skaale! Thank you for your comment, I completely agree with you. It’s just that I am still getting better renders with keyshot than with hours of trying to produce a believable shader in 3ds max. I am still not sure why they haven’t added a few extra slots to the shaders in heyshot though, maybe there’s a way to combine them? If somebodey knows please share. (For example I am a bit perplexed that cloth shaders do not have a color map slot, and the skin shaders do not have an sss map slot, would be good to know if we can make that changes to them).

Better renderer… Still looking for one, just push the button, adjust the thickness/underlaying color/reflection of the skin by a (color/depth)mask and go!

I took my old model of Discworld Death and tweaked it a bit. Built in Zbrush, tried the new dynamesh subtract options and rendered in keyshot.
this is really nice, I almost want it made cooler, just to give me that chill
