A rendition of Davy Jones quick sketch. Really quick Basemesh in max to start as soon as possible, some hour and a half to this stage displayed here. I’m really thrown off by nex-gen designs, so this could easilly be a beginning of an expressive organic modeling for me, C&C is cool
Edit: I always am keen of discovering my influences. For this I thought it was the stingerhead at first for I saw the model on bump map tutorial, but as I rewatched an ending episode of season 3 of curb your enthusiasm yesterday, it became apparent to me that the davy jones version I did was a lot like Paul Willson, an actor who played Andy Portico the food critic. “It’s not original if it hasn’t got an origin”.

Cool! I like the colours and render. Got a real aphex twin feel to it. Especially like the area around the nose/under the eyes. You should follow this concept through!

Another quickie, about half an hour with polysphere. I don’t have much time my movie being almost finished, but hope to do something with more attention soon. I’ve developed a very quick style using claybrush that gives me the wanted result, similar to my drawing/painting style. Just a quick observation.
I call it Krunoslav, it looks like a friend of mine who goes by that name.

“Benga” (eng. “fuel”) - a character concept, sorry if Fuel already exists I didn’t know, I don’t read comic books I’m combining Porsche classical design with human anatomy on this one. Again the same metaphore as seen in my previos works, a gadget that gives man power but not as near power that he has without it. A hedonistic constraint, same as cars where you love and hate them at the same time, while no compromises provides love and love. Oh humans, mazohistic animals
