Thanks! Is it out for pc finally? I loved AC2

Played the PS3 version so not sure about the PC, but i can’t imagine it’s 3 months behind… suppose it could be.
I’ve not played for a week, and just talking about it is giving me withdrawal symptoms!!! DAMN… addicted

Hehe, yes it’s that kind of a game, everything just fits so well. Great game series, but I’m not sure I like it’s so addictive  They said for PC 1st quartal 2011. Oh well I’m just gonna have to wait, thanks for the info.

Hello. I've conceived this video as a Zbrush turntable with stop-motion animation created from various Zbrush screengrabs of details of the model. The idea was to use a static model, and not only make a turntable out of it, but tell a certain story about the character with moving and static pictures and with the help of music. Once again, a self portrait as Ezio Auditore. The music it is layed out to is Assassin by Muse. I had a glimpse of what could be interesting, and quickly sketched that glimpse, and the other sequences presented themselfs on the way of creation. Zbrush's best renderer for rendering out the turntable as well as the static images, and Adobe Premiere for editing. Initial sketch of the idea [idea.jpg-->%3C/font%3E"]<!---->](http://%3Cfont%20color=%22#9A9A9A%22%3E<!---->%3C/font%3E"]<!---->](http://%3Cfont%20color=%22#9A9A9A%22%3E![idea.jpg|1000x409](upload://7uqBA1Hq5tZFl5kFYB92zDNAyDM.jpeg)![tabla.jpg|1000x479](upload://gjeKSXFjHTDczw2IImvNk35guv7.jpeg)![HD.jpg|220x99](upload://2KmncEx3RgKhKhANB0E3xla2xxS.jpeg)

Hey dude, great vid although I found it a little to quick in transition between shots. Might be nice to start your shots a little slower and build up to the fast cuts at the end, before one long slow zoom or pan for a final shot at the end… think sex  but sped up

I’ve been feeling there was something missing in this, despite it’s excellence, and I figure out what it is… for me at least… I’d lean him forward off that front foot (back leg becoming counter-weight) like he’s about to go into action/ leap of faith… it’d add drama, and without any real extra work -bonus!
Great stuff as always Dimitrij

Thank you!!! Yeah, I know, I wanted to hide that stiff position hehe, I know it’s there though. I didn’t pose the body and hips, cause I wanted them to remain symmetrical when and if I will do the uv’s, delete backfaces etc. And also I find transpose tool doesn’t work well with shell-ed geometry. So that’s that, me hating sorting out geometry and uv’s. :laughing:small_orange_diamond:+1:

About the editing the video, I’m a schooled animator (no 3d I’m afraid, but classical animation), and my computing of data that comes through my eyes is a bit faster, so with this one I wanted to satisfy myself first. Come to think of it, a fly would think this was in slow motion

P.S. still gathering a team for the game, mainly lacking programmers for UDK.
All the best!

Hey man just to offer a little bit of advise, i thought it was cool, but if this is for presentation (like to get you a job) the people looking at it are going to want to dissect the model to see if you really know what you are doing. Because of that they may watch it several times over. Meaning that loud music that they might not enjoy isn’t always a good idea. The same goes for the fast spinning and the quick cut shots because they don’t last long enough to see anything and they take away from the sculpture itself.

Now if this is a specific project, or just for fun, then go nuts i liked it lol. Just sayin if this is a portfolio piece then i would probably go with soft quiet looping music (or none at all) and a slow turn and/or pans that show good angles of the model with plenty of time to look at it.

Thank you for your words Clintus Maximus! I see what you mean, and agree with you. But it wasn’t intended as a portfolio piece, but that other kind - the go nuts hehe. I wanted to give my own take of the character, in first order for myself to see the idea come to life and hopefully give me what I concieved it to give, so I imagine it as an experimental short rather than the classical turntable with screenshots for a possible employer. If that was the case - sure!

Glad you liked it

Absolutely love it Cherub…Go with your instincts…such an inspired way to show your work…just include some high res shots for details.

Glad you do! About the high res details, the stills are high res but the ending looses quality because it is cut from the same one turntable, and scaled up or down, so there is where the pixelation occurs. I made that completely on the fly in premiere so didn’t prepare previously with recording and exporting the different sized turntables from Zbrush. I could now render them out based on these, but it would loose that initial spark…as it usually happens to me when I repeat stuff

Best

Hello all, this was created last year for auka company and the LuveTub puddings commercial using Zbrush. I got an order to make two pudding topings in as little time as possible, and managed to pull it of in three days. I was so frightened that i won't make it bacause both the chocolate and caramel chunks had to each be unique, uv'ed and textured, but luckily Z4 was out just in time for me to give spotlight a go for the first time ever :) Watch Lovetub chocolate pudding commercial [HERE](http://www.fernandoshowreel.co.uk/#/gallery/work-5/lovetub-sponsor-chocolate-44/) Watch Lovetub caramel pudding commercial [HERE](http://www.fernandoshowreel.co.uk/#/gallery/work-5/lovetub-sponsor-caramel-43/) Zbrush renders: </span> [cokolada.jpg-->%3C/font%3E"]<!---->](http://%3Cfont%20color=%22#9A9A9A%22%3E<!---->%3C/font%3E"]<!---->](http://%3Cfont%20color=%22#9A9A9A%22%3E![cokolada.jpg|1100x726](upload://7g5u3f5TGu4hFSMeLTlTDElKXU5.jpeg)![Karamela.jpg|1100x726](upload://tKnycECZXvpNoNyrBP46NO1DDo2.jpeg)![lt.jpg|150x68](upload://j3YLQkU2vQHYiwlgRERgxX1g9GD.jpeg)
