Here’s two of my models with wireframe shown.

Most of the hairs were modeled in maya and textured in photoshop and bodypaint. We used crazybump to create normal maps. In some cases, zbrush was used to block in the basic form or to get clumpings on thicker portions of certain hairstyles.

Really good characters, impressive details. Can you show me a wireframe in T-pose? I’ve seen, that you have a twiset in the lower arm topology, and I’m curious how does your t-pose look like

Hi! awesome work by the way, however since i saw the indogenes when i first saw defiance, i wondered how what kind of process you used to get those hexagonal scales, The logical answer would be Alphas, but from what i know its really time consuming to dragrectangle all those hexagons perfectly, im just wondering if their was some other process, Thanks!

For Eren, it was just a texture overlay that I also used Crazybump to pop it out with the normal map. But there was a nice tutorial on zbrush (I can’t find the link anymore), if you place a texture on your sculpt and then just mask by intensity. Then you can just inflate what you want.

So that was just a texture overlay you crazy bumped? To get it to work did you just have straight UVs for the paints?
