Real nice work!!
you got amazing details in the crown, having seen the crown in person several times (born and raised in Hungary) it is amazing to see it in Zbrush, great execution, would have never though of seeing Saint Stephen of Hungary as a Zbrush model. Thank you
Thank you Bas Mazur!
d100763:Thanks to you , not for me.About Saint Stephen of Hungary…it´s not based on him.I used some face references, but the character it´s not based in nobody in special. The form of the eyes from one reference, the nose from another one…he is a little Frankenstein.
In advantage that we have an hungarian here,Whats the correct name of the crown?
PS:What is doing an hungarian in Honolulu?
Cheers
nice work!
Thank you Kyle.

Helping a friend that ask me to do a breaking ice cocoon for a photo composition.

And a WIP composition.

you have some really nice work.
to me, the front shot for the ice cocoon isn’t very clear. the idea of the cocoon and the ice takes you a little bit to realize “oh! that’s a tattoo of a butterfly, so since that branch is on the top there it must be a cocoon?..but what is that crystal?..or ice?”…know what i mean? i think you could probably get away with more if it were maybe a 3/4 view, or something a little more interesting with the composition.
Thank you skinnybonez.
The composition picture it´s a cropped part where the cocoon appears.
Looks just great! I love all your work on this thread!
Cheers, David
awesome progress man! specially like the crown!
Gr8 Works Dude !!
The Red Bull render’s really nice. Very fresh look!
Hi everybody.
I´m going to post a wip human skeleton.
It´s a mix of photogrammetry and ZBrush.
Skull and vertebras progress.

Close up view from a C1 vertebra.Topology, highpoly and a quick Keyshot render.

Hope you like it.
Beautiful work! So is it scanned data combined with Zbrush? Either way, really beautiful stuff.
A couple of things that comes to mind about the spine; the space between the bodies of the vertebraes seems a bit tight, you probably won’t fit the intervertebral discs there.
And another thing about the arrangement of the spine; do you have any reference for putting it together? Was just thinking that the Dorsal-Lumbar region is a bit straight, like it is in medical anatomy books. It is not wrong in any way, but if your plan is to turn this into something alive you might run into problems. Again, I do not know your intentions with the project, just writing what comes to mind
Now if it is supposed to be a live person in the end, maby draw in a plumb line so the balance of the standing skeleton will work in the end. Books of Recher and Goldfinger are good for that.
Best of luck with the project!
Outstanding work, it looks extremely real ;D
Thank you guys.
Alexander:Yes,it is a “scanned” base mesh. But this meshes need a lot of work from Raw data to the final model. But they are great for the basic forms.
About the spine,I´m still thinking about to fill the intervertebral discs. And you are right about the references.I´m using Netter´s book and some references from the web.
My plan is let it like a skeleton so I wish that the references are ok.
Thanks for your support and comments.
