David´s Sketchbook

@Framedworld: If that was what you meant, then I understand what you mean by life. Your technical experience is more extended, but I was looking at it subjectively.

-Hope David does not bring too much life to the goth :wink:

@Peter Folke: Thanks,I´m glad that you like it.
@Framedworld:Thanks.Your critics are very constructive and I´m agree with them.
I´m sure that I´m not doing to work well sss2 vray material,but after trying with multiple lightings and material/scene settings, this render looks the least bad to me.
I´m also try to render it in maya with mental ray , and I think the skin looks better (except the plastic ear) but then I had problems with other things that I know to do in 3ds Max,so I pass again to Max and Vray.

Maya render and maps:

Not too shabby!

your mouth is such a huge improvement! as is the skin. Though there is something I just realized looking at it without the dress: the shoulders are too narrow, or rather close together. Thats what giving an unnatural feel. But the flesh is nice on the collar bones. okay so do the nose and the eyes to match those lips and I’m telling you you’re gonna have such a good piece! :+1:

@Framedworld;Thanks.I appreciate your comments.
New model.

The design is propierty of Gameloft

very nice and cool design !

Nice work, man!

From first glance, I was a little confused about what material the shield was made out of. You nailed the metal look with his crest connecting the cape/sash, but maybe turn down the depth on that “damage” alpha, only because it was giving a few of the pieces a stone look and softening them up.

Great work though! I love the way you pulled off this bust, keep it up!

Bad ass sculpt great work David:+1: <-- 500 POST :D:)

Fantastic sculpt! Pose is very natural

@RAGHAVAN:Thanks, the design is not mine.
@TheTurner:Thanks.I´m agree with you, maybe the displacement at vray is so much strong.
@KC-Production:Thanks and congratulations for your 500 posts.
@FairCat:Thank you.

One of my pending things list.Create a background for the creature that I modelled some months ago.
I hope you like it.
