It’s funny, before the game screen loaded in and as the zsculpt image was loading, I said to myself… That looks like DarkSiders…heh, pretty cool. The game looks like fun and this looks like it was fun to make. Great job!

rasmusW- i did the high poly, low poly and worked on the difuse, specular and normalmaps but the guys from vigil edited the maps for the final version.

Stop lying! haha j/k was this 13K after decimation master? I am baffled at the fact that it looks so smooth, and is so low poly (for zbrush), would you mind sharing your base mesh? or was that zspheres?

I saw this part of the game at E3 last week. He asks you to collect 200 souls for him or something then you go into a battle killing demons that have glowing soul “faces” coming out of the corpses when you kill them. I revisited this demo a few times during the show just to get more peaks at the other levels. Very cool game. I even played it a few times as well. The graphic renders have a ton of detail all over this game. Such incredible zbrush work all over the place. Props to you all and all your hard work that went into this project. I know this company have been working on this game for a long time now. Are you getting to light at the end of the tunnel yet? Good luck to you and your talented team.

Aberrant- actually the low poly model has 13000 tris. It’s a large budget of polygons for a low poly. :slight_smile:

I’m with everyone… great job on this model, man. You’ve got seriously great skills there.

I’ve forgotten how truly great Joe is. I only worked with him a while on Exarch Online (AKA Dungeon Runners), but seeing all the concept work really is a wake up call to cool. It’s already inspiring me to up the ante on my own game.
