:question: Could you show more about the holes in the wing?
Like is it two parts, or is the wing membrain all one piece?

the wings are made of two parts, the “bony stuff” and the membrane inbetween.
the “bony stuff” were made entirely out of zspheres, and the membrane (only one piece) base was basically just a plane with some polygons removed and a bevel applied to get a little bit of thickness. what you can see on the first page is pretty much it really :slight_smile:

In zbrush I combined the two into one mesh and used the clay brush to remove the seams.

Great model, top row bound methinks.

After I finish my current model, I’m going to attempt one these nether worldly creatures. It seems like a good way to really “let it all go” with your modeling
