Was watching an sss tutorial for Maya on youtube (to any that is interested, here it is:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFRZDRFOoNc) and came up with these images. I’m liking the direction that its heading, but still need lots of work. Have to play with shadows and lighting some more.

Still playing with settings, but had a quick question. How would I adjust the bump mapping with the sss shader? For some reason the bump effect is showing up really weak. Thanks.

Got a better feel for spotlight, and got some decent images for the texturing. Pretty low res tho, so will have to use them as a base to paint over. Anyways, wanted to post update. Thanks.

Very nice block out. Everything is low-res, but there is definite character apparent.

Thank you for the reply. Yeah, couldn’t really find that large enough on an image for spotlight, or maybe I’m just doing it wrong. Anyways, will use what I have for a base to fix the texture and make it look more high res.

Haha heck yeah, got them H-bombs :slight_smile: And don’t know if you saw the fight with Shogun, but Mauricio can take a hit man. Hendo dropped him a couple of times and dude hung in there. Great fight. Thanks for the comment.
