DaddyMack's Reel WIP Models/ Workflows

So this is where you put all your sick stuff theese days  . There are some very nice works there, I like some of concepts, looks like they have a potentional. Also I see you are improoving. Keep it up!

CryingHorn… Thanks mate, hardly any time to play these days, good to see you’re still having fun too;)

Here’s my first ‘anatomy’ post here, my FOT statue arrived and after much gawking at him I decided to tackle my first reclining nude…

He’s only in the blocking stage right now and I’ll take any pointers from you greats in my stride as I go

Here’s a 2mb turntable (sorry no timelapse this time)

I usually try to be positive, but i have to say, this is the worst sculpt of a human body I have ever seen. If you were trying to make an alien or something, well then it is pretty good, but come on, people have two eyes!

Note: I was obviously being sarcastic, but I’m still pretty sure I’m going to get a bunch of people on my sketchbook telling me how much my work sucks. Well, traffic is traffic.

Twitchmonkey… sad thing is it’s a self portrait…

Thanks for catching the vibe and making me laugh bro

Hi guys this character and his little couch will be produced in 3 pieces, him, blanket, couch and then I plan to cast him in resin, airbrush details and release them as a limited edition into the art toy world.

The character’s name is Wink and this particular piece is called reclining nude… hopefully the piece speaks for itself…

And here’s a turntable with a good all 'round look at him.

I’d say he’s about half finished and will take any pointers you’ve got for me into account. Thanks for looking in on me8D

Hi guys, here’s the update on this piece

And here’s a link to a turntable

What do you think?.. I know I’ve got some serious refining to do but I’d love to hear from anyone as to what kind of vibe/ impression you get from it or any pointers you have

Hey daddymack,

Love the toon.

I think you made the right move. The new ‘sofa’ harmonizes nicely with the character (and competes less due to it’s broader, smoother features). His pose seems more natural too – really feels like he’s supported by that surface.

…saw this piece a while back – liked it then – but for my two-bits, this version is the way to go.
