"Creatures Walk Among Us"

Thanks to my ZAmigos who’ve been following the thread for the good spirited comments. Made me laugh.

feureau, Glad you like the “devil-guy”, I appreciate the comments, and suggestions. About the scar, I just “Sculpted it”, so to speak, by enlarging the model and used a smaller brush. (BTW my alien-guy want to know when your bringing back his UFO?

edgeart, thanks!

VVDFX, Hey, another makeup-y guy around here. Glad you enjoyed the pissed off demon. He is actually the very, very, first thing I did, but not my first post. Had to “Abandom him” after a while as when time progressed, I learned I wasn’t going about it properly, and would’nt be able to finish him to the level I would prefer. Your enjoying him makes it well worth the angst…Cheers!

BTW, Lucky you, I don’t even have a copy of the latest issue of “Horrorshow Magazine” is it ok? I see that they even have a Ray Harryhausen interview, which in itself, makes it cool to me. Thanks for the support, that’s very kind of you. (Checked out your website, nice stuff amigo, keep it up! PS. Say hi to Barney over at Proteus from me, if you can.

Been breaking down a script all day for a project happening mid-November from the producers of “Hostle”. Wish me luck.

I host the Virtual Humans Forum at FMX in Stuttgart. Each year we take a good look at ways artists and technology are finding ways to convey the human message through lifelike animated actors. We take a good look at the “uncanny valley” and how to cross it. I’d like to make an observation. Your work is quite good, especially in defining your character visually. Clearly, you really have an excellent understanding of the human forum and it’s many messages. In this case for example I see that the character may have early cataracts…he has difficulty seeing clearly…perhaps from age. In that pose I suspect he’s seen somthing and he’s concentrating to understand what it is. I know he looks mean, but I’m not sure he is. I think it’s more a matter of what age has done to him. That uncertainty is part of your genius…this is a very human monster, saturated with human non-verbal messages. It’s pretty damn good art as well.

Brian! Happy birthday, man!

I think guys from this forum join my congratulations. Many interesting creations in the future !!!
