Loverly
This looks really wonderful, great work!
Really beautiful work, Rick. Amazing likeness… of Bela. I especially like the Eyes.
I agree about the eyes, brilliant work, great likeness and so life-like!
Thanks guys,
I worked on him more today. I think he is looking more like Bela .Still not finished.
Yes I was planning on doing more to the body. The hair is painted on the
texture map.
I did a bad job of blurring part of the image but hey it is a work in progress.
Hope you like it.
Oh! This is so good, the way it suggests the way the nostrils move, spectacular, and those eyebrows! They are alive.
pull the strings!!!
this gives me flashbacks of Ed Wood
Hey Rick,
Did you ever get a chance to meet any of these classic movie monster actors? Lugosi, Karloff, Cheney?
Stunning as usual, you really do get the job done… marvelous work!
cal
Complete awesomeness!
Good step in the right direction man. Those subtle improvements are adding up fast. I think I like this more straight on shot better as well, but both are pretty sweet. The eyes and expression are killer.
You are the master!!!
It always amazes me when you post your work!
You really nailed the eyes! Looks fantastic… this takes me back to my childhood nightmares. Thank you for posting this.
So good Rick, I watched your african woman timelapse the otherday, and it helped me loosen up in zbrush and find a workflow which makes my traditional style and skills translate well to zbrush. Thanks, you’re an inspiration!
awesome work, rick. really love how you done those eyes.

Hi Rick, thanks for taking the time to post these new Wip pics.
The new sculpt’s coming along great; superb structure/detailing and expression. I’d love to see some wires/ZBrush screengrabs.
.
Outstanding likeness. Love the expression. 5* work all the way.
Awesome Job as always Rick.
(Luxology should buy you a large beer, because your work/renders are the reason why I bought modo recently - and I guess I’m not the only one :))
Thanks guys, I started to block out some cloths. Very rough at the moment but it is nice to see him looking a little more elegant.
Great! I know it’s wip, and watching your tutorials I always thought you’re gonna miss something (like mouth pit here, i dunno the English word for that hole above the upper lip below the nose sorry ), but you never do and add it in end
only words of praise for your work.
