Looks awesome! Much better hair than when I attempted to make him!
Great job ! Love the final composite.
gota say very nice…congrats on the modeling and paint. i have to agree that the eyes --i should better say the lower eyelid , looks like a wound stiched up. Fix that up, and later on drink yourself a cold beer. nvm you cant even see it from afar.
Interu2x: thanks, im glad you like it so much:)
Mrguy: thanks, i will look on the eyes again. To your question, its MR in 3dsmax
shulinchung: you make me happy man:D
DBriggs: Its alwayse pain for me to composite character with scene, so thankyou:)
MjTheHunter: yeah, i probably should. If i find time to rerender that part i will fix that, thanks.
Eiad: thanks
d100763: i made widescreen version which i like more and im plannig to post it later.
KrakenCMT: thanks man, but i remember your conan and i think you did very good job with hairs in final composite
magalhaes: thankyou
Panastation: now when you said that, i can see it looks a bit like stiches, i will fix that and it will be better, thanks:)
I know rerendering would be a pain… But I mean… For Arnold
Would you mind sharing the hair material setup? Did you render the whole thing in mental ray or the hair was in separate pass?
Crom!!!
Eiad: Sure, i will post screens of hair material settings later.
Its all in mental ray, i rendered scene separetly and then the character with hair and fur, i also saved render element of hair and fur, so i could work with it independently.
Really really cool work. The likeness is uncanny! There’s something bugging me about his right hand though but I can’t quite put my finger on it.
Really good job though, I’d kinda like to see half his face melted away and a sinister metal scull lurking behind… But that’s just me
keep it up!
Great work
But I agree with pigdog, the knuckles are probably a bit too narrow.
wow this is fantastic. really well created scene aswell as character
great job, but there is something about the shadows that make the whole thing look flat, especially the axe, looks like from a diferent render ;f
pigdog04: thanks, yes you have a point, that hand is wrong, have to fix it. And to the killing metal machine, I have arnolds model, I can have more fun with him later.
Santis: thanks and yes, i will try to fix that hand.
darxx: im glad you like it.
slocik: your comment was very helpfull, thankyou. I have made some changes already and i think it has more depth and much better feeling now. But i will post it later, when i fix the model.
Eiad: so here is hair setting as promised, i hope it will help.
Yeah, the wide angle with the tighter cropping is much better IMHO…great likeness!!
d100763: thanks, yes wide screen won it for me.
I have made some changes, to make it feel like movie shot. Well thats what I tried
This is impressive
Waw! Cool!
Thje body and the background is amazing, but tye axe still takes away from it.
Chceck out this photo, you need to split the metal partt in 2 colors, bright where it was sharpened last time, and darker on the rest of it. Try also throwing in some dirt where the metal and wood connects, break apart both of the ends as if it was stuck on there iwth a hammer ;D
