HOUAHAHA Terrible!

Cool shader from Jason

Here’s one of my Silo models. I lowered the cavity radius to 3 and added
a little specular highlight.

Just playing and experimenting more with storytelling techniques Used the poser (Nooooo not Poser!) lion for a test because it had a complete texture lol. Doodled on it a bit. Anyone feel like ressurecting this thread and 50s thread? http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=6894 I am sure there are a Lot of people new to the forum that havent seen them and they do showcase a capability of Z that is about to be lost in the forest of experiments in Z3

I think it’s a great idea Tartan! I love the realm of toons!

I’ll have to work up a few for the 15th…

Wow, I like Toon very, very, very much…
I have a nice Toon Material that is very simple.
There are two sample of ZBrush render with that material…

Here a textured model

Hope that the material can be useful to push some people to post some nice toon image!!!

Ciao
guti

it could be a very useful material! I will try it soon:D

Nice material :+1: :+1:

Thanks So Much

 Looks like there are still a few folks interested Jason

Excellent material Guti. I will try it this weekend and post the results later. :+1:

I guess this is my last experiment before Z3 hits. This is a study on how the cartoon shaders would affect a plane 3d with an image/texture I created in Photoshop. Top left is of course after I applied an alpha mask to it. Top right is Jasons second toon shader. Bottom left is Guti’s and bottom right is the fast shader. The second image is a closeup of Jasons.

Hey Jason

Sorry man I missed it, i missed it.

How the hell I missed this thread.

I dont know how much I can work on this low end laptop but I am gonna try this out right now, before zbrush 3 takes over every post on this forum.

and this is great effort man, you rock as usual. :+1:

Very cool looking image Tartan.

I hope to provide something very cool to bring new ideas to this thread under ZB3.

what the hell is this:D

@Chabah LOL I am not sure man but if you can figure it out let me know  hmmm maybe 2 beakless birds of paradise and in the middle that looks kind of like some humanoid monster being impaled by a strange looking insectoid… hehe This is what happened in photoshop one day when I got bored. Believe it or not it started as a landscape render in Bryce

Sunny! Where the hell have you been??? sheesh  Your absence was noted and good to see you back :sunglasses: :+1:

That sounds great Jason. I have a few experiments in this vein I wanted to try in Z3 with multiple meshes. Maybe a space scene with a Gundam fight :bulb: Now that I can pose my own characters in Z3 and with scene creation easier. my outlook on graphic novels is about to change:laughing: This is an important thread:+1:

My family portrait…

Hi Tartan

I was around but because of my knee injury I am still not able to walk. I am staying at my cousin’s place and I cannot work a lot on this silly low end notebook(still its my saviour because i survived 3 months on bed because of it) .

So was writing a novel and checking all works here without participating much. Untill I dont get back to my house I still cannot work though.

hows your graphic novel work going on ?

N.B.- Sorry Jason for hijacking your thread.

Hey Sunny,

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I went to make a response and the forum was closed  Glad to hear you are doing better. I know you will be happy to get home  On the subject of graphic novels. I have several projects planned on. I have textures ready to be translated into Z with models both original and collected over the years. All I need to do now is experiment with scene creation, lights, action, camera. All of the story material will be based on my slowly emerging Bridgeworld series the first novel of which will be completed sometime by the end of the year. I have decided to use a lot of my non original models because once I get into the swing of things I wont have time to build everything the project will require, only the main characters. Its very hard for one person to pull things together. How is your own comic project going?

Now post some experiments here!

hey Tartan

best of luck for that , hope with Z3 you can complete it faster.

my comics is stalled man, all my files are at home and I cannot work on this low end laptop, i have to wait till I get back home.

Till then no zbrush 3 also, as all information to update is back home.

will take another two months till I can walk properly again.

I am going through zbrush 3 tutorals , hope to learn something theoritically till then and if they release a demo fast I can start practicing atleast…
