m0delista - Thanks alot man!

barefootMind - I am glad that you think that the presentation works thanks

soulty666 - thanks man! yeah well in the future Ill do a turntable showing all that and the stings on the shoulder.

koyima - Thanks!

samiosp - Thanks!!!

Curtis Poirier - Thank you!

wow man. looking great! Spawn has always been one of my favorite comic books. Only thing I have to say is the background on the shot where he is landing. As soon as I came to the image I was distracted by that. I feel it is way to busy and bright.

It turned out so awesome man! the final presentation seriously rocks! :+1:
P.S. the triangle count is walking on my nerves now  lol

Uhhhh
Blown away! Very cool mix of McFarlane and the movie Spawn with loads of awesome new stuff brought to the show
!

Some critiques if you don’t mind.

  1. The chains appear to be paper-thin from the side view.

  2. His right leg looks glued to the big cylinder armor boot thingy. It needs to be hollow inside, because he is actually wearing that thing. It reminds me of Hellboy’s whammer right now, just kinda part of him.

JUST AWESOME OVERALL!!!

This is very good, I like it a lot.

:+1:

absolutley incredible, I love it dude, spawn was my fav comic.:+1: awesome work!!!

Please forgive the noob question, but I am unable to find the answer on the net
what is the reasoning behind Spawn having one large cement boot? Seems a little unwieldy to me. Then again, I have trouble with rain boots.

Have a blessed day,

First great Spawn I think I’ve seen. Great work! I’d love to see the presentation render (him on the base) in higher resolution and without the comic book panels.

Edit: Nevermind, there was one it just hadn’t loaded.

OMG!, really awesome! top row!. incredible details and cool style!

I want to thank you guys for the support and all the comments ZBC ROX!

adio38 - thanks man and sorry you didnt liked the background my main concern was on not putting him over black but next time ill try doing better.

SuperHer0 - lol! thanks man! was hard on staying on the limit.

HYDE - Thanks a lot man I did a mix with a lot of stuff with this character.About the chains and boots I needed to sacrifice details like this because of the budget of 12k tris and I decided to spend more in other areas since Im planning on creating blend shapes for the cape so it needed to be a little heavier. For sure Ill fix that in the future thanks!

EricShawn- Thanks a lot!

Cordycep - Thanks man I am glad to hear from a fan that this new style is working.

kmkenpo - lol I really dunno I think thats a question for Mr. todd mcfarlane. But in my opinion it creates a great balance and silhouette for the character.

tobbeo - Thanks man

Protizimo - I really glad you liked Thanks!

I hate critiquing perfection, so it’s always hard to say things like that about something so great. I just didn’t know if that hurts your chances of winning or not.

BTW, I forgot to mention the McFarlane style comic panels are great. Love it!

Next you should consider creating McFarlane’s HAUNT character. He’d be a perfect Zbrush project for you to tackle.

Thanks for the comment HYDE and don’t worry thats why we post on forums right? to receive feedback and get other artists to see our work.I am really happy you liked the style of the panels.HAUNT is really cool its definetly something to consider for the future thanks.

You should definitely post your beauty shot and a link to this thread in the Comicon Challenge Thread that we just created!

Its there! Thanks alot aurick.

Hey guys I forgot to put this image that is when i did some changes on the low poly model.

Cheers.
