Can I ask how you do the skin and hair textures? Fotographs as brush?

Plakkie. the textures are a mix of a photo and painting but gradually I’m replacing it by just painting (hair are crap right now).

I have done a few 3D prints of Zstuff and it’s a buzz to see it. Your sculpt would look great as a “real model”.

I agree, would be even better to see these as full models. Maybe put Colossus in his Acolytes costume. Give them capes. No! No Capes!

that is one amazing looking thor. he’s very nordic looking, which is great. he reminds me of some of the guys in the “world’s strongest man” competitions. aside from you saying it’s thor, though, theres really nothing there that identifies him as the superhero. are you planning on adding any costume elements? either way, it’s fantastic!
These two guys are my favorites Marvel Characters, and you made them really damn good!!! the Thor’s face is awesome and I like the way you did Colossus, he looks strong! Keep doing good, I can’t wait to see them finished

Thanks guys for your comments! Yes I plan on doing a whole costume but not the old school costume, and I will pose him on a throne (eventually when I get the time).
Still got work to do but I remade the textures (I still have to work on the hair ) and I still got to work on the eyes it looks like he’s a bout to cry… LOL!

I think your hair is excellent man! There’s a definite distinction in texture between the two types. I would leave the hair as it is and move onto the eyes and then full body/costume. You might get a better sense on what to change in the hair later after adding in the full figure and see how it all ties together. It’s always good to take a step back and move on. After you look at something too long you get so sucked in you start losing focus. You have a definite stylistic approach and I would try to keep it that way. He does look like he’s gonna cry ever so slightly. It’s surely building up into a massive sob attack. That’s a good thing though because I’m convinced that he looks like he’s gonna cry.

lol…you’re right about the crying thing. i never really liked te old school costume. i mostly hated the helmet, because i could never draw those stupid wings.
