Beautiful Work! I wish i could do somwhat like you…
really beautiful work! delicate features!
Amazing, very beautiful.
Beautiful!!!
Top Row Stuff!
i dont know the first thing about sculpting in stone but how someone can take something as hard as rock and make it look so soft is amazing!!small_orange_diamond
Superb work, man. I always imagined that subtractive sculpting (rock, wood, etc) would be more difficult, or should I say less forgiving than additive sculpting (clay, sculpy, etc).
It seems that the 3d work helped with removing the extra mass of marble, but didn’t really get a smooth surface to speed finishing.
Maybe there is some way to fine tune the way the marble is removed so the tool removes the marble consistently? Best of luck.
Also, are you going to polish the surface or leave it rough? It’s really a superb piece. Thanks for sharing your work! Amazing work.
A master piece, a true piece of art, just beautiful! PERFECT!
Sculpting those fingers out of an unforgiving piece of marble…

Thanks for the comments. I’m really glad you liked it.
Now I’ll start to show some works in ZBrush.
This is a portrait of the character John Locke ( from “Lost” ).
excellent work. It is very inspirational, especially your real worl sculptures. That likeness of John Locke is really on target. Best of luck to you
I knew it was Locke immediately from the thumbnail on the front page.
