You did something with the forms there, in the shape language of the creature, that is working out well
It just works out very well, its difficult to describe: like his scale can be either small or large, works either way,
I think its the long neck and tail contrasting the shape of his center; and he has cute circular eyes in contrast to his dangerous looking slicing chompers.
The long neck begs “gentle leaf eater” then the chompers say “meat eater”
Maybe he eats other creatures that live in the trees…
I hope you texture him, he looks really great. Simple yet very interesting!
