is there any reason why your making separate reels? or are you planning to apply to places that fit you in like a small cog in a large machine.

but i have to say that your reel is very nice, and that youve come a very very long way from where you were just a few months ago.
btw, what is the music that is playing in your reel?
The reason for the separate reels is because I wanted to get something out “now” that could represent what I do. However, I don’t plan on sending hard copies of just this reel, and then hard copies of the texturing reel. I’m going to combine them once I get the texturing reel done. Personally I don’t like spending time doing all that rendering for reels. I’d much rather be working on producing new models and let still images tell the tale of the model. But I had so many people ask me for a reel I went ahead and did it.
I posted a few posts back where the music came from. It’s a Prince song, called East. It’s a snippet from the actual song, which is like 14 minutes long. I just thought it fit since it had that exotic guitar in the beginning and then the hard riff when I wanted the other characters to kick in. I don’t know if I’ll use it in the final reel, i.e. modeling and texturing, but if it fits the length I will.

the reason i asked is because i know a number of people who do multiple reels for when they look for specific jobs at places. And they mainly look at companies such as dreamworks, sony, etc.
anyway, good luck on the job hunt! ( not like you’ll need it
