Cannot "Draw" in edit mode

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!!! I thought I was going insane! I tried your most recent suggestion wicked sunny and it worked. Thank the Z-gods…This is the best forum I’ve ever been a part of, thank you all for the help, I’ve learned a lot along the way, I can’t thank you all enough!

Hyde you are welcome and yes this is one of the best forums in the world …

I realized it when I came here for the first time

Sven - a year of Zbrush and I came to know about it today, that also because someone thought to revive a 5 months old question …
link I ahve given above…

without it no way I could have figured it out …maybe be 3 week down the line I would have forgotten it…  … we should be thanking the person who revived the question … :+1: :sunglasses:

This is called destiny… the very complexity of life

I had the same problem of drawing through to the other side but thought it was a bi-product of my own ignorance. I’m still new at all of this so if something goes wrong and I can’t find the answer in the forum, I figure it’s just a newbie mistake. After seeing how weird and unusual this was, I don’t feel so bad anymore.

Sunny,

I’m almost three years into ZBrush myself.

Destiny or not, Hyde’s dilemma unmasks a potentially serious problem for storing .ztl models. I wonder if this is a known problem that the ZBrush 2.5 coders are aware of? Is it something that needs to be corrected or will 2.5 have the same problem?

Hyde’s model puzzle must have happened to other ZBrushers, wouldn’t you think? After all, it’s not that hard to accidentally save a model this way. I tried myself and it appears to be all too easy to do.

Hmm.

I dont think this is a problem, this is a way to make an object transparent , though moving the Z slider isnt recommended.

Atleast i go crazy in zbrush to add transparency… this is sure shot way to give ghost like appearance to creatures though only by decreasing the rgb value and not Z intensity…
