Cool work we have here 
My suggestion is to work a bit more in the lighting because right now it don’t match with the background image in my opinion. From what I see/feel the light is coming from behind but the character is lit by a front/up light. Another thing is that the background is more desaturated and sepia from the foreground.
Anyway great character, I like very much his expression
