BUBBIT !.............wip

thx jantim, my friend !
this is a rendering in XSI,with mental ray, not in ZB, and yes I used a macro photo of a human skin for the texture and I did the same for the eye annd the tongue.
thx a lot for comment  I’m glad you like it

finally i’ve made it!!!

three days of work and…
doom3bubbitsmall.jpg

XSI+ZB -> lwo -> bubbit is inside Doom3

next step…animate it inside doom3…

maybe we should write a tutorial about how to do this, what do ya think?

geometrize the hair please, bald is a bit unscary…eheheheh

Yeah, that would be cool you write a tut on how import a normalmapped character in the doom3 engine!

yesssss !! we are MenteZero !
SLC

maybe when we have some free time we’ll do a tut on how this works…in the mean time thanks for looking! btw great model my dear

woohoo! :+1: nice!

On this latest version, that may be true. It’s definitely lost something, but I think it’s more lighting/material than hair.

Go back to the beginning of the thread – those first few images are plenty frightening; perhaps more so because they’re bald!

I think your model is amazing, really creative. I really like the XSI render with the hair and all. I just had a question what did you mean by :“yes I used a macro photo of a human skin for the texture and I did the same for the eye annd the tongue.”? Once again great job on the modeling and render!:+1:

I figured it out about the macro photo texture mix. I was just was having a bit of lag in my brain;)

thx guys  glad you like it !

alkazam : it means that I used a photo in macro of an area of a face, and I positioned this photo in all the model. Then I have some small coler correction, for example for the eye area and mouth. I follow the same method for the eyes and tongue, which textures are two photos : one of an eye and one of a tongue. Thx for comment

thanks for the answer man, I kinda figured thats what you meant. Cant wait to see your animation. Keep up the great work. Really inspirational stuff, gets a persons imagination running. You must know the following artist since you like Insanely Twisted Rabbit creations Michel Gagné very cool artist check out his website: http://www.gagneint.com/Final%20site/books/rabbits/rabbits.htm
