the horse looks great 
ā¦ but why carved ? woodcarvings have quite a different surface (when carved classcially with chisels etc), either high polished (when sanded) or a āchiseledā look consisting of facetes, flat and slightly bend facetesā¦ 
ā¦ anyway the model is wonderful.
@ kokoro After looking at some of your wood carvings I see what you mean about the planes and edgesā¦
I was looking at my horse and the texture just reminded me of a wood like surface and thats how it became a wood carvingā¦

Great job on that horse with the FiberMesh mane and tail Dekeā¦Itās just a standout imageā¦that stands on itās own meritsā¦Luv the combination of the sculpted feeling of the horse combined with the free flowing and natural feel of the mane and tailā¦Just something about it reminds me maybe of what Degas did in a sculpture of a young ballerina dancer that he madeā¦put real cloths on the sculptureā¦made it totally uniqueā¦especally at the time when he did itā¦All the critics hated it thenā¦now they all love itā¦Just goes to show youā¦LOL criticS WHAT DO THEY KNOW

I made the columns from very lowpoly boxes and then sd to 1mil polys and did the shaping with projection master and then back ā¦
all done with zbrā¦

Pro4210; there are literally thousands of different versions of Lady Liberty, some of which do have to hands reversed.
