Blue Ferrets ZBR4r2 Sketches

Wow, MealeaYing That was a hell of an egoboost…thank you…

If your interesrted I could tell you how to keep all the pieces together…I finish each object , put it in place and then merge it down ( making sure each one is its own poly group)…Then you can just a drop in more tools … Deke

Thanks Glennn, i swear the fat truflle sniffing hog ate them all judging by his tail…

I really like the grass and background vegetation in that last image there, good work. The rabbit has a nice light about him too.

Thanks Shaun I’m glad you like ( Happy early Easter )

Here is another update to my Landscape in Somewheres back yard…

Hi Deke

The Liberty Death pieces on the previous page in here…Outstanding…:+1: Excellent and powerful use and visual statement of a powerful symbol…:+1:small_orange_diamond:)

I really like your surreal horse also.:+1:…Needs some very long skinny legged elephants to keep him company I think…:D:+1:

Glenn

A further development of this piece…Somewhat Reminiscent of Francis Bacon , maybe…

Horse_Bacon2.jpg

i like these… though i must admit, i find it a little disturbing that the back seems to be broken. some horses do have a strong bend curve in back, and i know you are not going for real, but as is it mixes with my feelings when looking your image, which i otherwise like much.

@ Glenn… The Death of Liberty is on my mind a lot as I stem from post war Germany and got to see that a lot in action,
and it seems we are heading for a similar turn of events in todays society run by untouchable corporate giants…enough said…
Thanks fro appreciating the statement Deke

@ Korkoro My main focus was getting to build the flesh forms inside the horse…Trying to get the feel of Francis Bacon and his use of _
color and subject…The broken back I didn’t even see…hmmm maybe I’ll fix that eventually ( If I don’t get way-laid by some other passing Thought ) Deke

Hey Deke, love the horse and The Death of Liberty both. Look at the broken back of the horse as one of those happy accidents that seem to happen a lot in Zbrush. If you look at my dragon sculpt, you’ll see that one of the bones in the wing closest to the viewer is almost broken in half. I have to admit that wasn’t on purpose. When I first noticed it, I was frantically trying to fix it, but after smoothing it back just a little I decided it looked kind of cool, like a battle injury that hadn’t healed correctly. I pray for those things to happen every sculpt lol. Great job!

another in my horse project series … Deke

All done in Zbrush except flare that was done in PS…
