I found a little time between other things to revisit this image, this version inspired by the robot from Chris Cunningham’s video for All Is Full Of Love. I used the previous model as a starting point, split the geometry into component parts in Maya, then used zbrush for sculpting and texture work via zapplink, then rendered in mentalray, with some post work in Photoshop…hope you like!
